WELCOME TO THE UK AND EUROPE HILAL FORUM.

The UK-Europe Hilal Forum commenced in 2017 and was launched in 2020. The Muslims living in Britain and Europe are divided at the beginning and end of each new Islamic month; students, employees, traders, shopkeepers, and general public are worried about when Ramadan will start, and Eid celebrated. Getting time off from work on short notice is difficult. This problem has continued for too long. So, the scholars of the UK and Europe Hilal Forum have reviewed previous crescent sighting efforts. After thorough consideration of previous formulae that shaped the beginning of the Islamic months, accepted their merits, and examined their constraints. UK and Europe's Hilal Forum has agreed to use the method of astronomical calculations. This allows us to make announcements of start of the Islamic month well in advance. Therefore, Muslims can book their holidays and determine the days of their Itikaf, Eid, and other religious festivals beforehand.
